OK,
I want to send a huge Thank You to Greybeard. I'm putting this in the Giving Back to the Community instead of the Flute Makers section because I really feel it needs to be posted here... because without me knowing he really out of his way to help me out and to make sure I'll be making more flutes soon.
So Ed e-mailed me a couple weeks back... actually I think he first mentioned it maybe a month ago... that he was getting some bamboo and he'd send me a couple pieces if I wanted.
I said sure... of course I'd like some.
Well.. I got a pm a couple days ago saying it was on the way..
But today when I went to get the mail I got the shock of a liffetime... there was this really big 6 foot black plastic bundle along side the house. ohmy.gif
So I sliced it open, and there starting at me were 10 big green beautiful six foot bamboo poles... really big ones ranging from about an inch to inch and a half i.d. Big beautiful bass flutes just lying there ready to be made...
I was stunned... I thought he was gonna maybe throw some cool pieces in a triangle box... I never expected so many pieces so big!!! They still need to dry, but who cares??? This is Florida, once it gets hot they'll dry in no time.

So Ed... Thank You!!! I dont know how to repay you for this... but I'll think of something!!!
Synergy

I'd say Ed would most likely feel completely repayed if you made really beautiful flutes out of this gift... wink.gif

Bamboozled, Tenzin
