Hey, Moderators,

What is that WARN bar thing that is on my posts?

Is that to show if I've done something bad? ohmy.gif

Not to worry. I won't. Just wondering.

Hi tootieflutie58,

Welcome to the forum! Yes, the warn bar is exactly that. The forum rules are very straightforward (if you have not already read them you can find them in the Admin Announcements section: Site Rules). Basically, we want everyone to be nice and polite and to refrain from profanity and any deragatory or personal comment.

Not much of a worry on a site like this, really. However, we are very, very strict about it. If a person bends those fundamental rules, they get a single warning (which will probably be indicated on the warn bar), and continued violation means being banned from the forum. In the case of a truly overt or extreme violation, we skip the warning and go straight to the expulsion part.

All the best forums I've seen on the internet are very strict about courtesy, and therefore they are nice places to chat!

Thanks for the info on that.

I did read the rules and that's why I joined. I wanted a nice place to share and learn without all that offensive stuff.
