I just visited the Flute Portal main site, which I have not done too often. I was advised that I need to register/log-in.
My question is though I am registered and logged in on the forum is it still required on the main site or was that an error?
If it is required can I use the same user name and password that I use on the forum?

I believe that it's a separte registration. But I suggest that you simply register using the same user name and password that you use for the Forum. That way you only have one of each to remember.

I think I only regisreed for one. But do use your current log in and password. They are the same. Once I'm logged in to one, I'm logged in to the other.

Once you register on the Flute Portal, you are automatically registered on the forums and vice versa.

However, you are not always logged in automatically by traveling between the two sites. You still have to log in to the Flute Portal main site (using the same username and password that you use for the forums), just as someone coming from the Flute Portal to the forums still has to log in and create a user profile in order to participate.

Hi Geoffrey, Back when I was logging on in the beginning I had trouble and now Im currently logged as M Turner and as Michael Turner....Is there a way to delete the Michael Turner and change the M Turner to Mike Turner................ Mike

There are some changes being made this summer to the Admin controls for the Flute Portal that will give me the ability to search the user database more efficiently. Once those are in place it will be easier to track down registrations and make changes. So the answer is "yes", probably before the end of August. You might have to remind me again however....
