Hi All

I am working with scale and just playing my flute, I also plan to buy John Vames book soon.

But I would like to find a simple to learn tune that I can learn from Tablature, ie learn a tune and how to read Tablature at the same time. Can anyone recommend a tune and suggest where I can get the Tablature for it from please.

Mark. Check out this link for lots of tab... http://www.flutetree.com/songbook/contemporary/index.html
www.flutetree.com is the main site. Good stuff. Note that in using tab, there are a few differences in makers. Flutetree has a pull down menu of many major flute makers and their particular fingerings.

Do you want the flute fingerings or Nakai Tab? There is a difference.

jim cook
i would think she's looking for both, so she can put the two together as a way to learn to read tab quicker.

Ah... I was not aware of that. I guess I need the fingering. But I will do some surfing
to see what the difference is.

Great link, thank you. Any recommendations for the simplest tune?

Check out the Duck Song. Looks to be fairly easy and the notes don't get up into the high notes. Also, I beleive that there is a link that will allow you to hear the song.
