This template is available for anyone to use who wishes to post a review of a Native American Flute in the Review section of this forum. It was compiled using suggestions from other forum members as to what topics/features they would like to see included in a flute review, and was created to hopefully encourage others to post their own flute reviews. However, use of this template is Not mandatory, it is simply intended to be a helpfull tool and guideline. Feel free to use all or any portion of it as you see fit. Thank you.

Instructions: Copy and paste template to new post in Review section. Words in parentheses are intended to be deleted and replaced with responses. Reviewer Background, measurements and comment fields are optional. Feel free to skip any section you are not sure of, but try to be as thorough as possible. On multiple choice sections, place/type an X next to the one that applies. On 1-5 ratings, choose a number between one and five, one being poor, five being great or best. Photos are optional but highly recommended; after all, "a picture paints a thousand words."

Definitions:
Backpressure: Resistance felt when blowing into or “forcing” air through flute.

Air requirement: Somewhat tied to backpressure, air requirement can be viewed as how quickly you run out of breath blowing into the flute, or how quickly the flute consumes air.

Responsiveness: How quickly flute “responds” to changes in breath or finger movement. Encompasses how well the flute executes tricks or ornaments such as trills, barks, whips etc.

Value: Bang for your buck or, do you feel it was under or over priced.
